The Tatsukas’ garage door closed on its own, unprompted, almost causing an accident.
This looked like it could be a motherboard problem, but we wanted to eliminate the other possibilities first. Lucky us (and lucky Mrs. Tatsuka!) we found that the problem was coming from the wall console. We checked the wiring for breaks or frayed points, and then replaced the console. The garage door has now lost that mind of its own.
